About

Two people, and both of them answer.

E&E Managed Solutions is a two-partner shop serving small businesses across South Louisiana. Here's who you'd actually be hiring.

Why we started

We kept getting called to clean up after the last provider.

Between us we've spent years inside other people's IT companies, and the pattern was always the same. A business signs with a big regional provider, gets a polished onboarding, and then slowly becomes a ticket number. Calls go to a queue. The technician who knew the building leaves. Nobody has looked at the backups in a year.

We started E&E because we thought the small end of the market deserved the opposite of that: a provider small enough that the owners know your network personally, and disciplined enough that nothing quietly rots in the background.

Right now, E&E is something we run evenings and weekends around full-time jobs — not because we're not serious about it, but because we'd rather build this properly, one client at a time, than overpromise before we're ready to hire more hands. Every client we take on now gets exactly as much attention as the fiftieth one will.

We'd rather have thirty clients who trust us than three hundred who can't get us on the phone.

Who you'll be working with

The whole company, on one page.

No org chart, no account managers, no offshore night shift. When you call, it's one of these two.

Ethan DeSoto

Co-founder · Support, networks & security

Ethan DeSoto provides reliable, straightforward IT support backed by hands-on experience supporting enterprise technology in a multi-billion-dollar manufacturing company. He specializes in troubleshooting computers, networks, printers, and everyday technology issues, with a focus on finding practical solutions instead of unnecessary upsells. When he's not working with technology, Ethan enjoys life on his Louisiana farm with his wife and their two dogs, where he spends time outdoors and stays connected to his local community.

[Same again for the second partner — we both cover the same ground, so this one can mirror Ethan's: background, what you'd call them about, and something human at the end. Clients hire people they can picture, so it's worth writing properly rather than listing certifications.]

How we work

Four things we won't move on.

Plain English

We explain it so you can make the decision.

You shouldn't have to take our word for anything. If we recommend spending money, you get the reason in language you can repeat to your business partner — and the option of not doing it.

By design

We work evenings and weekends. On purpose.

Both of us still hold full-time jobs — for now. That means your maintenance and updates happen after your business closes, not in the middle of your workday, and it means we can be picky about who we take on instead of overextending to hit a quota. When we do go full-time, it'll be because our clients pushed us there.

No lock-in

Your accounts stay yours.

Domains, licences and admin access are registered to your business, not ours. If you ever leave, you leave with everything and a clean handover. We'd rather earn the next month than trap you in it.

No commission

We don't get paid to recommend hardware.

We're not a reseller chasing a vendor target. If the cheaper firewall is the right one for your building, that's the one in the quote — and if the one you already own is fine, we'll tell you that instead.

Show up

Some problems need a person in the room.

Remote support handles most things faster than a drive would. But when it doesn't, somebody gets in the truck — and it's one of the two people whose name is on the company.
